This Hungarian sabre evokes the arms of late medieval Hungarian warriors, with its distinctive S-shaped crossguard and curved blade. Original examples of this weapon type have been found at Alsókanda and Sátorhely in the Mohács region. We recommend it for late 15th- and early 16th-century Hungarian reenactment, particularly for portrayals of the Battle of Mohács era.
